The symposium and workshop will be hosted over two days by INALCO. It will include researchers representing different disciplines and interdisciplinary fields.

 Conference :
The first day or the first morning will be held in plenary conference format with words of welcome and keynote speakers. Workshops will start immediately afterwards. Each session will last two hours and consist of three or four 20 minutes presentations followed by a discussion introduced by a discussant. The conference will be discussion focused.
Aiming to provide a forum for fruitful discussion on the role of migrations in modern societies and their impact on international relations, this symposium will bring together historians, political scientists, migration experts, anthropology, sociology, literature and political economy scholars to problematize the issue in a global and interdisciplinary context.
One of the important objectives of CAAS is to train younger researchers jointly. We highly hope that PHD and post-doc students and young researchers will participate to this Symposium and workshops.
